DroidX System Update Issues

Ok, so I have been waiting forever for the Froyo 2.2 update. Checking daily for an update, only to get "Check for update not available." Thought this meant Verizon was preparing for the update. Finally, tried the update on my husband's phone, and BAM!, it worked.

So, I finally figured out how to resolve the issue on mine!  Downloading now!

How to fix "check for update not available"

•  Settings – data manager – data delivery – social applications - sync over wifi => off. 
• If you are not on wifi, you have to disable this or the check for updates will never work.
